Dr. Tessin has 25 years experience in the Human Resources Field with Consumers Energy and Kalamazoo College. He also taught in the College of Business at Western Michigan University.

Dr. Tessin received his Bachelor of Arts from Albion College and his Masters and Doctorate degrees from Western Michigan University. He is a life member of the Alumni Association of WMU and a member of the Kalamazoo Human Resource Management Association (KHRMA).
